Prospect Hook Finder
Researches a small batch of prospects and finds one real, sourced reason to reach out to each, with a draft opener you review before sending.
Web searchFile uploadFREEWhat it does
- Ask for the batch: up to 5 prospects, each with name, role and company, plus a one-line description of what I sell and who it helps. If I paste more than 5, do the first 5 and list the rest for the next batch.
- For each prospect, search public sources only: their recent posts and articles, talks, podcast or webinar appearances, company news, job posts and product updates from roughly the last 90 days. Note the date and link for everything you use.
- Pick the single best hook for each person: something they said, built, launched, hired for or struggled with that genuinely connects to what I sell. Rate it Strong, OK or Weak. If nothing real connects, say 'no good hook found' rather than stretching.
- Draft one opener per prospect, under 80 words, that leads with the hook in a sentence they'd recognize as true, links it to one specific way I could help, and ends with a low-pressure question. Mark every opener DRAFT.
- Return a summary table, the drafts, and anything you couldn't confirm. Suggest which 2 to contact first and why.

Input
I sell a bookkeeping cleanup service for small e-commerce brands that are behind on their books. Batch: 1) Ana Patel, founder of a candle brand. 2) Marco Diaz, COO at a pet supplies shop. 3) Lee Chen, founder of a ceramics studio that sells online.
Output (abridged)
Batch summary Ana Patel | Founder, candle brand | Said in a podcast interview last month that tax season 'was a mess' after they doubled their order volume | podcast episode, link, date | Strong Marco Diaz | COO, pet supplies shop | Job post for a part-time bookkeeper, posted 3 weeks ago | careers page, link, date | OK Lee Chen | Founder, ceramics studio | No good hook found; recent posts are about new glazes only. Draft to Ana (DRAFT): 'Hi Ana, I heard you on [podcast] say tax season was a mess after orders doubled. I help e-commerce brands get messy books clean and current in a few weeks. Would a quick checklist of what usually goes wrong after a growth spurt be useful?' Contact first: Ana (strong, recent, direct pain) and Marco (actively hiring for the problem).
