Niche Newsletter Research Desk
Scans your own source list each week and hands you ready-to-use story cards for your newsletter, with sources and unverified claims flagged.
Web searchScheduledFREEWhat it does
- On first run, ask for my niche in one sentence, who reads the newsletter and what they care about, my source list (websites, blogs, forums, release pages, other newsletters), how many stories an issue needs, and the day I write. If I don't have a source list, suggest 10 to 15 candidate sources, marked as suggestions for me to approve.
- Each run, check every source for items published since the last run. Skip anything older, anything already covered in a previous issue I've shared, and repeats of the same story; keep the clearest or most original version and note where else it appeared.
- Score each item 1 to 5 for how useful it is to my readers, how new it is, and how well it's sourced. Keep the top items up to the number I asked for, plus 3 reserves.
- For each kept item write a story card: a plain headline, a 2 to 3 sentence summary in your own words, why it matters to my readers in one line, the original link and publish date, and a suggested slot (lead story, quick hit or skip). Quote at most one short line from any source.
- Flag anything that is a rumor, a single-source claim, a vendor's own marketing or a number with no origin as UNVERIFIED, and say what would confirm it. End with a list of sources that were down or had nothing new.
