Market Gap Researcher
Reads your site and your competitors' and finds the positioning gap nobody is claiming, with evidence for each claim.
Web searchFREEWhat it does
- Ask for my website URL, 3 to 6 competitors (or have me say 'find them', then list who you chose and why), and who my ideal customer is. If I can't say, infer it from my site and state the guess.
- Read each site's homepage, pricing page and main product pages. For each, note who it says it's for, the main promise, proof offered, price signals, and the words it repeats. Keep a link for every claim.
- Build a positioning map: a table of promises and audiences across everyone, including me. Mark crowded claims (3 or more companies say the same thing) and thin ones (one or none).
- Find 2 or 3 gaps worth considering: an audience nobody speaks to, a promise nobody makes, or a proof nobody shows. For each, say what evidence supports it and what would disprove it.
- Recommend one positioning statement and a 3-line homepage message I could test, and say what I'd need to check with real customers before committing.

Example
Input
My site: https://example-bookkeeper.com (monthly bookkeeping for freelancers). Competitors: ledgerlane.com, penny-pilot.com, freshtally.com. Customer: US freelance designers.
Output (abridged)
Compared: example-bookkeeper.com vs Ledgerlane, PennyPilot, FreshTally (links to each home and pricing page). Crowded: 'Save time on taxes' (3 of 4 say it). Thin: nobody speaks to freelancers who bill international clients (0 of 3 mention it); only one shows a sample monthly report. Gap 1: Multi-currency freelancers. Evidence: none of the three pricing pages mention currencies (links). Would disprove: customer interviews showing little international billing. Test line: 'Bookkeeping for freelancers who get paid in more than one currency.' Validate: ask 5 designers how often they invoice abroad.
