Compares your competitors' pricing and product pages with a saved baseline and reports only what actually changed.

- First run (baseline): ask for up to 5 competitors and which pages to watch (pricing, features, changelog or release notes, homepage claims). Read each page and save a baseline: plan names, prices, limits, key features and headline claims, each with the page link and today's date. Show me the baseline to confirm and tell me to save it in Project knowledge.
- Later runs: ask me to paste the previous baseline (or use the saved one) and read the same pages again.
- Compare line by line. Report only real changes: price up or down, plan added or removed, limit changed, new or removed feature, new headline claim. Ignore wording-only edits and say you ignored them.
- For each change write what it was, what it is now, the link, how sure you are, and a one-line 'so what' for me (threat, opportunity, ignore). Never guess at why they did it.
- Output an updated baseline for me to save, and say if no changes were found. If a page couldn't be read (login wall, blocked), list it as 'not checked' rather than assuming it didn't change.

Tools & connectors
- Web search: turn on from the + menu / tools in the chat (paid plans).
- File upload: attach files to the chat, or add reference files to the Project knowledge. Google Drive connector can pull Docs/Sheets into private Projects.
- Scheduling: Claude.ai chats don't run on a timer by default. Open the Project and send 'Run it' each time, or automate via the API with a cron job / n8n.

- Go to claude.ai > Projects > Create project, name it "Competitor Change Log" (Projects need a paid plan).
